Bottega Veneta Transports to the European Coastlines
Matthieu Blazy’s latest offering for Bottega Veneta, the Summer Solstice collection, effortlessly transports us to the European coastlines, with its latest campaign set against a backdrop of picturesque landscapes and the vast ocean. The campaign, cast by Anita Bitton, features a stellar lineup, including Anok Yai and Penelope Ternes, alongside Badhiel Lony Nyang, Haroon Sherzad, Isaiah Zacarias, and Pasquale Nappi, who all walked in the brand’s Fall/Winter ’24 show. Photographed by Louise & Maria Thornfeldt, the collection showcases Bottega Veneta’s specialized leather intrecciato technique on the Hop, Cabat, Cobble, and Clam bags in a light teal, green, and mustard palette. The collection extends to beach towels, paired with fish and banana motifs, and complemented by statement accessories like the fin ceramic earrings and sleek cat-eye sunglasses seen on Penelope Ternes. Celine Time travels to the 60’s for Zouzou Perfume
In 2019, Celine unveiled its Haute Perfumerie line, marking an expansion into the world of fragrance under the guidance of Hedi Slimane. However, it’s been a notable two years since the French Maison dropped a new fragrance and the latest 12th addition, a day scent named Zouzou, arrives just in time for the summer season, drawing inspiration from Slimane’s obsession with the youth culture of the 1960s. For the campaign, Slimane enlisted British-American actress and musician Esther Rose McGregor, who embodies the fragrance’s spirit with a striking platinum blonde pixie cut courtesy of hair stylist Esther Langham. Slimane shared via Celine’s Instagram, “I called my new perfume for Celine Zouzou, an affectionate and child-like nickname that appeared in the last century to describe a young woman with short hair.” True to form, Slimane not only served as the creative mind behind Zouzou but also took the helm of the campaign’s photography and direction, collaborating with Aaron de Mey for makeup. The fragrance composition is complex and inviting, featuring notes of benzoin and tonka bean, layered with amber and musk, and a rich undercurrent of caramel, patchouli, and labdanum, culminating in a powdery, sweet finish. Zouzou will be available on June 20th, capturing the essence of summer with its unique blend of elements.

H&M Heads to Brazil for the Summer
Brazil has claimed its status as a sought-after destination, famed for its vibrant culture and breathtaking landscapes. H&M tapped longtime collaborators, Brazilian photographer Rafael Pavarotti and set designer Ibby Njoya, to bring their summer campaign to life. The new ad features New Supers Anok Yai and Vittoria Ceretti, who have both appeared in over eight campaigns this year and Top 50 model Devyn Garcia, marking her second major appearance in this year’s slate of campaigns. The trio were shot against the lush backdrop of Brazil’s forests and oceans, accentuated by the collection’s vibrant palette of ruby, black, and multicolored patterns, ranging from sun dresses to swimwear. Pavarotti said, “It was a great pleasure and joy to go to Brazil to shoot the H&M Summer 2024 campaign. It’s always special to create at home. Being immersed in nature and surrounded by so much beauty was essential to capturing the essence of the collection – it’s a celebration of this incredible energy, like a breeze of an endless summer.”

Calvin Klein’s Monochromatic Dream
Last week, Calvin Klein unveiled its latest collection, the Monochromatic Summer, a testament to the brand’s commitment to minimalist aesthetics. The accompanying campaign, captured through the lens of Josh Olins in the vibrant city of New York, features actor Micheal Ward and model Vittoria Ceretti. The pair were elegantly draped in pearl white hues, showcasing a selection that spans from ethereal lightweight pants and lingerie to essential tank tops and denim. Olins intertwines summer’s essence through fireworks motifs and flowers against the collection’s pristine palette, styled by Ludivine Poiblanc.
