Good ELITE.. they give a recognizable number of Asian models for Milan, which is often described as the most Euro-look loving fashion capital..lol
Charlene is really doing great just after over a month of becoming the 1st Runner up of Ford’s contest. She even surpassed the winner and fellow runner ups. Just amazing..

Charlene Almarvez is doing a great job for an Asian, more so a Filipina. (Girls from the Philippines usually do not look Asian enough to be memorable.) Very good, striking while the iron is hot.

Its still shocking how models.com has failed to Feature Shena Moulton after she has been Calvin Klien exclusive 2 seasons in a row, I mean which other black girl out there has done this in a minute. She has had a great season also, from MARC by Marc Jacobs to Thakoon, Tommy and the list goes on. So get it together and shine some light on this 15 year old girl from Jamaica. People need to look out for her.

I think some statistics need to be corrected. Charlene did do about 13 or 14 shows and yes Jacquelyn did a lot more which is also great. But Charlene does have a lot of followers in Asia. I’m really surprised that there is only about 40 comments on this page. During the Supermodel Contest Charlene page generated over 34,000 hits and over 1,500 comments.
Its a slow but steady growth therefore it’s only a matter of time for Charlene-as her unique Asian features attracts the region with the biggest population in the world…
Regardless, all the girls are wonderful this season aren’t they! Congrats to them all.

Fei Fei is not walking Milan? She was so stunning in London.
Ming Xi mightve walked more shows (18) on the buzz of her last Givenchy stint and her active handler, but I think Fei Fei looked more stunning and gorgeous in all the catwalk photos. So surprised to see she doesnt have a show card.
Maybe she’ll pop up as an exclusive. Fingers crossed.

Milaw F/W is drawing to a close and still no shine of Charlene… I guess Milan casting directors are not yet ready for her. A few Asians on the runway and honestly they really prefer “caucasians” which is a bad thing though.
