Women Model Management F/W 10 Show Package

Well look at that! Women NY now has an identity and it is as decided as it is deeply sophisticated. The significance of that achievement is that one of the legendary agencies in New York, founded on a tradition of ultra-high fashion imaging, moves into a new decade with it legacy not only intact but fully burnished. Like any good brand that has established its taste point Women, for its FW10 packaging reprises the now signature gestures such as a beautifully produced fold-out box, this time in navy ultra-suede with a shock of hot pink interiors all the more to play off against the classic olive green of the card-holder. And the cards, in a style that has become indicative of Women, is that 4 panel fold out featuring images that render those Women models as the epitome of glossed out high glamor. The fact that in such a short period of time the agency has come to locate such a consistent and controlled visual identity testifies to Louie Chaban’s quiet faith in the power of taste to persuade all the variables…clients… models…mother agencies to fall under the spell of that Women Mgmt aesthetic. Self Confident. No tricks needed. It’s not so usual, that strong business management can meet creative style and classy design, without forgetting the great management of it’s force: people – models. Seeing Women at 2010, it seems that also companies from other business fields could see how to make all this work this well.

The Best package so far, great imaging,major girls that are stars AND available. It’s a gold medal all the way.
This season it will be Women,IMG,New York Models,Supreme and Next that battle it out for Gold at the fashion Olympics in NYC. DNA,Ford and One could grab the odd gold medal but all of the above make the rest look like the Jamaican bob sled team so far. It’s on – Fashion Olympics 2010!!
Records will be smashed and new world champions will emerge! This is so exciting I need to buy an new outfit!

Looking at this package again I will forget about my purchasing of a new outfit (It was going to be a sweet Dior Homme thing…yes I am a male) and instead will try to bribe an issue of this ‘Package’ from whom ever will sell it to me! The front pictures on these cards are so fab it’s intoxicatingly (I refuse to use the word ‘fierce’…only newbies and catalog clients from Nebraska use that tired old phrase now…as well as Sex and the City wannabees) strong. Who ever edited this masterpiece needs to get a huge xo. It is amazing!! Go girls!!
