When I saw these shots of Jeisa Chiminazzo, sultry swirls scrawled under her eyes and across her face, I thought of the shapes you see in henna art. Jeisa’s freckles and the henna allusions together give you a very natural and serene feeling – a feeling that you would never think drawing on someone’s face could give. But it’s there, this kind of Frank Lloyd Wright phenomenon – it almost seems like the makeup evolved naturally onto Jeisa’s face. It was meant to be there. It’s hard to explain, but what matters is that these pictures, this makeup, my friend, are indeed beautiful.
