How discovered:
Fumi Nagasaka saw me on a friend’s Instagram photo and got in contact with me to do a shoot for Dazed and Confused. Then my mum’s friend Jason Jinx put me in touch with Elite in New York and they signed me :)

Favorite things:
I really enjoy watching anime cartoons, drawing, making beats, thrift shopping… items I can’t live without: my phone and all these knick knacks I’ve saved over the years :) … I have a visual memory so I photograph and collect everything, I think of it as saving memories. I honestly feel I would lose the memory of that time or moment if I throw it away :( but because of that my room is a crazy mess and my mum goes ballistic on me often… ha ha!

What are you listening to at the moment?
The Internet and Wiki

Favorite movie, tv show:
Yellow Submarine and Fantasia, I’ve watched both movies 100s of times since I was a toddler and each time I see or hear something different. They are both visually surreal and musical.

Favorite designer, fragrance or beauty product:
I enjoy Miu Miu, I think Pat McGrath’s color palette and make up is amazing, and I’ve also been using Milk products a lot, I love their stuff… they have the ideal products to use when you’re on the go.

What would you be doing if you weren’t modeling?
I would be doing something creative, I love illustration and sculptural installations, I also love programming beats and music so to learn more in these areas interests me.

What’s something uncool that you love anyway?
My braces! :) I also still love Hello Kitty stuff, I get a lot of weird looks carrying my little bags around and stuff, its ‘playboy’ for children in my opinion :)

Favorite modeling experience so far?
I really loved working for Kenzo, Sarrjamois was the stylist and she made me comfortable and styled everyone perfectly, I love colors so the shoot fit with my style and head better than others. I also loved working with Mario Sorrenti as I got the chance to work with friends, some who I had known since middle school.

What’s the best thing about your hometown/country?
My grandparents and all my mum’s family live in North Wales on an island called Anglesey near the Snowdonia mountains, I was born there. You’re surrounded by so many castles and the landscape is something like Lord Of the Rings :) Wales has a very old history and the Welsh kept their Celtic language. My cousins speak Welsh so they are unique in that way. I feel I have had the best of both worlds being able to spend time in both places.

Which brand would you really love to model for?
So many designers! Chloe stood out for me in their last show. I could see myself running and dancing around on some beach in those outfits. Also Steven Meisel, he makes his models look strong and sculptural, I like that.

Place you would love to visit:
I would really love to visit Tokyo, I’ve been wanting to go since I was young, me and my mum always planned to make a trip, whenever I see pictures of Tokyo it really draws me in, the lights, the signs the people and the art, I feel that Tokyo is a place that would fit me well. I would also like to go to Hong Kong as my grandpa is from there and that place looks as crazy looking as Tokyo.

Currently you’re obsessed with/about:
Learning more, I’ve been thinking lately that living in New York we are spoiled for choices. I want to know what life is outside of here, how other people live, I need a reality check basically :)
