@xiaochen Hey, i am Chinese too, and i’ve to disagree with you 100%. Lin Zhiling and Lin Jiaqi are ACTRESSES, not models. Particularly in the High Fashion market, in my opinion, beauties like Shu Pei and Liu Wen and FeiFei are the epitome of Chinese-edge. Their faces oozes the EDGYNESS the High Fashion market needs. There is a difference between Commercial and High Fashion. One is soft and sweet, the other, angular and stoic. ;)

I remembered her for that Cover with Fei Fei, Shu Pei, Mo Wandan. I thought she could look like Fei Fei’s lil sister. Fei Fei has an icy elegance about her. Xiao Wen is warmer. In the end, we have to see how she looks on the runway.

She’s amazing! Perfect eyes and so delicate. That’s exaclty what I wanna see on runways: more asian and african models!
@Yasmin don’t be ridiculous! most of euro models have similar features like blonde hair and blue/green eyes, but that doesn’t mean they all look the same! so are the asian!

Do you call a sea of blonde hair and blue eyes diversity? The Eastern European ideal is not the only one out there and fashion doesn’t just cater to that beauty alone. It’s great that more and more Asian girls are breaking into the industry. I’m happy to be represented. But above all, I think what matters most is how unique your look is and that’s regardless of race, really. And Xiao Wen has it.
