if you arent mentioning age through fear of age descrimination, you should stop mentioning how ‘young’ she is and how age is on her side, because you’re implying, in fact, that she is very young and the same assumptions will be made.

She’s always reminded me somehow Laine Rogova – with maybe different potentialities. What I adore about Adriana is it seems she can play both the “pure cutie” and the “peculiar/terrifically expressive” model with such an ease. Really promising – and even if not saying the age (btw: I agree with that…), that gives her a lot of chances and time to still develope a lot.

When a girl is under 175cm it is important to acknowledge the fact that she is still growing. Hence the “young” references. But most of the age discrimination has to do with models who are a little older, not younger. I don’t think youth has ever been a problem in the fashion industry.

There are lots of girls under 5’9″ that are quite interesting, and sometimes more so than the industry “standard”, but haven’t been chosen because of an inch or two. It’s good to see “shorter” girls getting noticed, even if they have, or haven’t reached their full height.

“The age/body matter” is important and very significant for sure, they can’t avoid any mention!; well, and we (more or less – me: A LOT) reluctantly have to agree about “I don’t think youth has ever been a problem in the fashion industry” too….

@Aldo I think Sylvester is only 5″9. But he is only 15. Adriana is BEAUTIFUL. LIKE SERIOUSLY BEAUTIFUL. Sasha’s eyes, Lara’s lips, Tanya’s bone structure, skin as white as alabaster. Beuatiful, she’s an amazing piece of art, from god that is ;)

I like her, and i can’t see that her hight is a problem, she has a pretty face, and that’s what matters most! Amanda Norgaard is listed for being 174 cm but it in fact only 169 cm, soo.. I think that the agencys adds a few cm to almost every model. bambi northwood-blyth is also only 169, but she still gets the good jobs. I think that an unique face and good personality is what matters most.

she is beautiful , is a model to exploit this face , has a somewhat compromised height , low models often do not work like a girls that has more of height 1.75 , there are cases of low models but is not normal , i believe that she has an angel , his fresh , his look , his style , his commercial / fashion / beauty , she is lovely :)

She’s really pretty and I’m glad to see a model here which is “only” 5’8! My daughter is 5’8 and she keeps hearing that she will never make it with this height … What big difference can 1-2 inches make when you got the right looks and proportions?
