Another super find thanks to Dutch social networking site Hyves, Maaike recently walked for Missoni in Milan, her first foray onto the catwalk. And with editorial in i-D Magazine due out and featured in ilovefake, Jalouse, and Glamour magazines, Maaike is just about ready to make her mark. We love this girl!

great eds! this girl is really rocking it in her photographs, she’s definately very talented. however, in her polaroids there’s something in her eyes that says ‘feed me’, perhaps a case of being overworked and underfed?

Oh my, FINALLY Maaike’s here!!!
Last Dutch models are soo good and talented – and they have huge personality. Maaike is the best example: just great. Maybe better for editorials / advs, she didn’t convince me completely on the catwalk, but we’ll see.
PS c’mon guys, she’s not that much skinny…

Maaike is a star!! I shot with this girl while in the Netherlands. She really left an impression. Super smart, and incredibly beautiful. She allowed her self to be vulnerable in the best possible way. I love her for that.
