Love that fact about her measurements! I think it´s not necessary to have only girls which are 88 in hips or less, but have very boring face and they appear on models.com and few months later they are gone and nobody is going to remember them!

-She’s personally a very good example to underline the fact a good commercial model isn’t that bad. You know, way too often people… I read things like “Sorry, but I think she’s COMMERCIAL”. With “Sorry” I usually start phrases like… mmm… “Sorry, but I think you have LEPROSY”! hehe or something like that…- :)
I wrote that lately for another model, but I think it’s good for Carla as well. Btw not first time I read her name and about her, straight to the point: she need a little development, but I hope she’s not going to totally change, ’cause it would be a shame. Not the kind of beauty I personally prefer, but wow, undeniably beautiful and a solid model as well imo.

I liked her in some of the pics, but in many of then I think she looks a bit odd, maybe it’s her wide face (i usually love strong jaw lines and square faces, but not this time), and her nose… :S However, from the right angle, she is a gorgeous girl!
Her polas were very disappointing though, she looked a bit…how can I put…bland? :S

she might be considered plus size for the runway, but there is something appealing about her look. Often fresh faces seems a bit cliche as everyone starts to look like the last one. She looks like someone who in the future, others will say the new models remind them of her.
She projects the confidence of being her own person.
She has the same kind of inherent sexiness of adriana lima, but there’s no mistaking one for the other.

I LOVE this. love to see a model with bigger measurements on models.com. she really isn’t big. I got into Elite model look finals in my country and didn’t get contracted because of my 91 cm hips. After that got rejected by other agents because of that. SO frustrating. adore to see her here

Some of the comments up there are really nasty. Please people, this has to stop. We can adore-like-dislike what we see, but there’s no need to be rude.
I think there’s no question this girl is photogenic. She looks expensive as hell. I do find it astonishing that this would even remotely be considered to be a plus size, even though I’m very well aware of the tendencies in the industry. I kind of like the idea of working with “more balanced weight girls”. Is a spin to the hanger we are very much accustomed to, and it looks great. The modeling industry is very diverse, I’m sure there’s a great slot for this girl, and as it always is, there’s no boundaries to where any kid can get with the right hype and support from the industry it self.

Why does models.com always delete my comments???
I was just saying that her measurements from models.com and the measurements written on her ford+ polaroid don’t go toghether!!!!
On models.com it says–> Waist: 68 cm/28″ and Hips: 98 cm/38.5″
On her ford polaroid card it says–> waist: 28″ (71cm and NOT 68cm…) and hips: 42.5″ (107-108 cm…)
—-> so what measurements are right??

@Yasmin – The measurements here are the ones that her mother agency gave me. I don’t know why the ones on her Ford card are different.
@Laura – I’m not sure what happened to your comment, I can’t recall having seen it (or deleting it)… there are a few people who moderate the comments on MDC. Perhaps it mentioned weight, which is why it wasn’t approved. The reasons why comments won’t be approved are: 1. Offensiveness; 2. Weight discussion (this isn’t the forum for it); 3. Spam.

People are so ignorant. They immediately deem her fat by just gazing at her measurements. And although she is skinny- looking almost just as skinny as many other models with smaller measurements, they areblinded to it because of some numbers.

I also find it sad that for instance crystal renn lost like almost all her weight again when she was a “plus size”- she was way more beautiful before. Only because I was wondering which measurements were right, it doesn’t mean that I’m a fan of super skinny models!! Those false allegations just make me angry…
