— How did you become a model?
I have a fraternal twin sister who started modeling, and because I was never skinny like her, I thought that would never be something I could do. But one day, when she had to go to one of her agency visits, she made me go with her because she was convinced I could model, too. I guess she was right because that’s when I got scouted.

— What weird or useless talent do you have?
I am exceptionally good at Tetris. Not to sound delusional, but I think I could be very successful if I ever competed at a tournament.

— What are three interesting facts about you?
1. I have a twin sister. In fact, we are a family of twins; my dad had a twin, his aunt had a twin, and his cousin gave birth to twins, so I guess I will have twins, too.
2. I have a Bachelor of Science in Psychology; I work at the Bundestag (the German parliament), and I volunteer at a hospital.
3. I DJ and love music and all kinds of fine arts!

— Tell us about your hometown.
My hometown is close to Amsterdam but very small and off-the-grid. It’s near the big chocolate factories of Zaanse Schans, which causes it to smell like burnt chocolate in the air, which is interesting. I love the peace and quiet of the countryside, as I live in the polder, which means lots of flat grasslands and pretty sunsets.

— How did you become a model?
I was clubbing with my brother in Amsterdam when I met my agents Nicholas and Ricardo. We all connected on the dance floor, which made me feel more at ease with them immediately compared to the previous times I got scouted on the street or at my day job.

— What’s a favorite book/movie/TV show, and why do you love it?
My favorite movie is Edward Scissorhands. I recently watched it again with my girlfriend, and we just continued to pick out things we enjoyed about it. The movie gives off a strange feeling, and I love the contrast between the normal bland suburban houses and Edward’s absurd castle, the same as the way everyone is acting. It makes you feel like you’re in a dream. Also, Tim Burton is just one of my favorite directors.

A Little Fly (India – mother agency)

— Tell us about your hometown.
I come from Uttarakhand where I was born and brought up in Dehradun. The one thing I loved about this place other than the beautiful scenery is waking up to my grandparents chanting their religious prayers and the smell of freshly made butter tea (Cha Po-Cha), but now due to the rapid industrialisation there has been a major deforestation in the entire city which has led to the loss in its beauty.

— What are three interesting facts about you?
1. I’ve always wanted to own a farm and grow my own food, even though I’m scared of insects and worms.
2. I’ve been bitten by dogs four times, but they’re so cute that I love them.
3. I’m a very emotional and sensitive person. I love small gestures and handmade gifts. I have a memory box filled with items.

— Who is your favorite entertainer?
My favorite entertainer is Ryan Stiles from “Whose Line is it Anyway?” I love how impromptu and witty the entire cast was, with Ryan being my favorite of them all.
