Born in the Netherlands and now based in New York, her inimitable style combines portraiture with fashion, landscape, architecture and still-life photography. The essence of her every subject is revealed without force: quiet, calm and consistently cool.

Commercially her advertising campaigns include Google, Coca Cola, BMW, Hugo Boss, Lacoste, Apple, Verizon, Nike, Banana Republic, Petit Bateau, Uniqlo, Motorola, Hewlett Packert, Adidas, HSBC, IBM, Comcast, Exxon, Levi’s, France Telecom and Tylenol.

MULDER’s pictures have appeared in magazines such as W, Purple, i-D, Vogue Paris, 10, Fantastic Man, Architectural Digest, Wall Street Journal, Hobo, Dossier; and exhibitions staged in New York, Amsterdam and Tokyo.

MARTIEN MULDER discovered her love of photography as a teenager, convincing her friends to pose for her in her home-made studio. After studying art history and majoring in contemporary photography, she leapt into the profession with unlimited enthusiasm and openness to all genres. She has traveled the world on assignments and created personal work at the same time.
