Poppy Kain is a London-based fashion editor, brand consultant and currently Contributing Fashion Editor of British Vogue where she held the position of Fashion Director from 2021 until 2024.
Kain joined British Vogue as Senior Fashion Editor in 2017 upon Edward Enninful’s appointment as Editor-in-Chief
Her work as a stylist has been synonymous with character-driven editorials, as well as collaborative creative relationships forged across multiple generations of photographic talent including Paolo Roversi, Alasdair McLellan, Lachlan Bailey, Charlotte Wales, Angelo Pennetta, Sofia Coppola and Venetia Scott, and next-generation talents such as Nadine Ijewere, Eddie Wrey, Campbell Addy, Rafael Pavarotti and Thue Nørgaard. Furthermore, Poppy enjoys a longstanding creative partnership with Juergen Teller spanning nearly a decade.
Poppy's work regularly appears in the pages of global Vogue titles including British, French, Italian, Spanish, Chinese, Polish and American editions, as well as i-D, AnOther, Dazed & Confused, W Magazine, T Magazine, WSJ Magazine and Self Service.
