You still feel competitive at this stage in the game?

I’m competitive with myself. I always try to push past my own borders. Right now I’m really excited about my acting career.

What’s your next acting venture?

I have a movie coming out this summer titled "Love Stinks". I play Bill Bellamy’s wife and it's a 1990’s "War Of The Roses". That’s the role I cut my hair for.

I think there’re two sides to it. There’s the casual, affordable side which I love, you know a short tight tank top with jeans. Aaliyah had a big influence on that look, the tight tank top with the baggy pants. Then you have the L’ll Kim side of it which is all about the designer name brand. Urban culture has really gotten into the name brands right?

Is that a good thing or a bad thing? What labels are you rocking?

To be honest I’m more into borrowing it, wearing it once and giving it back.

Because you can only be seen in it once anyway.

Exactly.

So what’s been pumping on your CD player as you cruise those balmy California freeways Miss Banks?

I’ve been listening a lot to that new Whitney Houston track, what’s it called...

Heartbreak Hotel?

No, uhmm. "My Love Is Your Love" and I totally love the new Monica single "Angel", I love that song so much, I close my eyes while driving and just sing along.
