WS: Do you feel more pressure these days when you
work?
K: Definitely backstage there's more attention now
...more photographers... more TV crews ...more interviews.
At the same time the people close to me treat me the same
way as always so I don't think I've changed. My life has changed,
professionally but I don't feel like I'm any different personally.
WS: Do you get recognized on the street?
K: I didn't expect this but it happens. Sometimes I'm
just walking around in my baseball hat, shopping, you know,
doing everyday things and people...from Peru or America or
Germany...come up and ask for autographs. And they know my
name. Which is really sweet. It's so touching
WS: You should be used to it though. Didn't you grow
up in the public eye as a little girl?
K: In my country, but my country is really small. So
it wasn't really the kind of public celebrity like what you
have here. My father was a well-known basketball player so
sports people who were interested in basketball would know
him. But it wasn't like we had to have bodyguards (lol)
Speaking of countries. Name your favorite
place in the world ...
