What was it about Vivian that captivated you? Nous: Vivian had posted some basic clean snapshots on her models.com page. Her beautiful eyes and striking features caught my attention. Since her pictures were so clean and natural there was no doubt about her beauty and potential. I immediately sent her an email. MDC: Once you saw her portfolio what was your follow-up process afterwards? Nous: Fortunately, Vivian and her family happened to be in Los Angeles on vacation when they received my email. Vivian's mom called me and we set up an appointment. She did a couple of test shoots while she was in town. We were able to get a nice beginning to her book right away. |

MDC:
I presume Vivian flew into LA to see you? Nous: Vivian returned to Los Angeles for a second time 2 weeks later. She did three more tests that strengthened & diversified her book. Now armed with a nice portfolio she met with several clients. Almost immediately she booked a beauty story for the Dec/Jan issue of Teen Magazine shot by photographer Jeff Berlin. MDC: How long did all this take? Nous: Vivian landed her first job within one month of signing with Nous. As you can see, we move quickly! With a girl as enthusiastic and beautiful as Vivian it's not hard. |

What has the response been to Vivian since the signing? Nous: The response has been wonderful. Photographers are enamored with her unique look and clients love her vibrant personality and limitless potential. MDC: Where do you plan taking her career from this point onwards? Nous: Vivian is a lovely young girl with smarts to match (she has a 4.0 GPA!). As school is always first priority, we will work together with her family to achieve success at a reasonable pace. At 14 years old, she has plenty of time ahead of her! |

Well we're very excited to continue working with Nous. Is scouting
a big part of your future plans? Nous: Scouting new talent is always a top priority for Nous! We have open calls, we attend conventions and are always keeping our eyes peeled on the streets of Los Angeles. We love how now we can use the models.com scouting service expand our search to an international level. |
