AMBER FOREVER She's been hacked and maligned most mercilessly by The Cabal for gaining a few pounds a season back but here is Amber Valetta head-lining probably the most coveted campaign of them all: the Versace. One of the most loyal models ever - still with Elite, irreplaceable in Donatella's heart (for now) and past the silly personal rifts that temporarily derailed her career - look for her to be back on your favorite magazine covers in the next few months. (And we have the contact sheets to prove it!)

FROM THE "THINGS THAT MAKE YOU GO HMMMMMM" DEPT Lovers of model intrigue would be well advised to pick up the Febuary issue of W magazine and turn to page 210. In the top left is a paparazzi image of Kate Moss and Karen Elson in earnest conversation. But it is the two background figures who would probably be of interest to Company's Michael Flutie. The gentleman in the white leather jacket and the Che Guevara T-shirt is none other than Women's Management head, Paul Rowland in deep tete a tete with his newest signing Frankie Rayder. Given that this picture was taken in the first week of December it just underscores how long Rayder defection to Women have been brewing. All's fair no?
