We're going to regret doing this but its time to announce the location of the newest model winter retreat. No, it's not St Barths (though Mustique will always be... Mustique) and it's certainly not Miami's South Beach (even if that Versace Millennium party is already legendary) Nor is it Bali despite the hype of Mark Baker's excursion.
The new vista to see and be seen is a tiny South American nation of Belize. It's where Carolyn Murphy goes to recover with her new beau at her sprawling ranch. (Read between the lines if you will.) It's where Halo impresario Kariem Amatullah hid out with his beau Shiraz along with power couple GQ's Holly Lang and A/X campaign photographer Michael Williams. Also skirting the scene was Jeffery Jah's right hand man, Lyman Carter and bad girl model Amy Wesson. With incredible weather, unspoiled beaches and a growing surfer culture (???) it's only a matter time before the rest of the demimonde "discovers" it.
