What advice would you have for other aspiring models trying to get noticed by these agents?
My advice to young girls would be to attend as many auditions and castings as you can, but don`t let a NO from them turn you down! Fight even harder to show them what they missed! Good Luck!

How did you become interested in modeling?
I was discovered in the stable when i was twelve by a girl from Face It Agency in Stockholm. My family and people around me always told me I should do modeling, but it started for real after that.

What agencies have you been in contact through MODELS.com?
Through MDC I have been contacted by 1 Model Management

What advice would you have for other aspiring models trying to get noticed by these agents?
All I can say is give it a shot and submit your photos on models.com and see what happens. You could be the next big thing.

How did you become interested in modeling?
I have gained a lot of confidence in myself over the years because of people making comments like “you should be a model” or even just people taking a second look. Also I heard that models get to travel around the world and then I really struck and interest.

What agencies have you been in contact through MODELS.com?
I have been in contact with Request and Elite.

What was your experience with them?
I was really pleased with their professionalism but on my budget there was no way I was getting to New York of Chicago.

Agency contacts: R&L, The Lyons Group

What was your experience with them?
I am already up on R&L's website and am going on calls. Plus my original agency, McDonald/Richards Model Management, sends me out frequently after updating my portfolio for MDC.

How did you become interested in modeling?
Bozell Advertising approached me and suggested I get an agency. I thought I was too old but it turns out that there is a market for models in their late 20's and 30's. Most of the younger models retire or move on to other things by this age leaving a hole in the market for people like myself.

What advice would you have for other aspiring models trying to get noticed by these agents?
Get great photos taken that reflect how you wish others perceive you. Treat it as an investment in your future. Then ask advice from other professionals to help you find where you fit in.

Agency contacts: Re:Quest, SVM, Fusion, V Models, Elite Chicago, DBM, BMG

How did you become interested in modeling?
Mostly from friends, family, and strangers kicking my behind telling me to give it a shot. It's also an excellent escape route out of Nebraska. To be honest, I've been blown away by how quickly all the contacts came flying in thanks to Models.com. (MDC is my hero)

What agencies have you been in contact through MODELS.com?
So far I've been in contact with REQUEST, SVM, FUSION, V-MODELS, DBM, BMG, ELITE-CHICAGO

What was your experience with them?
I've been talking strongly with most of them over the tele and am planning trips to the "Big Apple" and "Windy City" sometime very, very soon. This by the way would make my world, considering I've never been outside the Midwest my entire life. Doesn't that suck!

What advice would you have for other aspiring models trying to get noticed by these agents?
First thing ya'll need to do is become members on Models.com. No lie. I mean how else could a little-known midwest kid, stuck in the middle of nowhere, like myself be in contact with some of the top modeling agencies in the world! *Food for Thought* Secondly, even though I'm in pampers when it comes to the modeling world, there is one thing I have learned. Be true to yourself, both in pictures and personality. Don't be soo heavy on the glamor shots, but steere more towards the frontal, 45' degree, and profile shots. That's what all the agencies end up asking for anyways.

and...
Nickname: Doogie ( There's not a single person in the world who refers to me by my real name (Jacob), or even knows it for that matter. I've been known as Doogie my entire life. Hey stop laughing!)

What agencies have you been in contact through MODELS.com?
I´ve been in contact with Eye for I Model Management in Milan, and also in contact with Next models in Milan through models.com. They want me to come to Milan as soon as possible. I also was contacted by Eye modelmanagement & Magazine who want´s to get in contact with my mother agency in Denmark. I can´t believe I´ve been contacted by 3 modelagencies in only 1 month.

What advice would you have for other aspiring models trying to get noticed by these agents?
I´ve used the agency directory to get in contact with the model agencies - this really helped me and increased my chances of being contacted by agencies. I really recomend all you models.com members to use the agency directory and also to update your pictures everyday.

I'm a close friend of Tim Kilcher. He was the one to tell me about models.com. After I had paused for a while because of my studies in german literature at the University of Zurich, I thought it would be a great idea to submit my portfolio through out your service. I have to be honest, the feedback was very bad. I changed some pictures and made a new mailing about one week ago, and I got one feedback from one of the most powerful bookers in Milan.

The reasons I want to get a New York Agency is because all the big campaigns are made in NY, Europe especially Milan and Paris are dead: lot of models, bad jobs, NO MONEY!!! My feedback in L.A. was very good. The clients used to like me because of my "all american look".NY has the biggest model market of the world, including a very editorial Market and a huge comercial market.
