Peter Pilotto Fall/Winter 2013
As fast paced as fashion is, it is still rare to see a collection imbued with as much energy as Peter Pilotto‘s fall showing. Bursting with color, pattern and life, Pilotto’s kinetic fall offerings focused on artistry, merging a diverse array of kaleidoscopic elements into a streamlined selection. Whether it was the abstract detailing on boxy cropped jackets, or the graphic prints adding interest to a series of fabulously cut dresses, each detail seemed more attention grabbing than the next. Key moments like the fur accented coat on Cara Delevigne, or the bold layered look on Kremi Otashliyska seemed to literally pop. With editorials pushing into 3D hyper reality, Pilotto and Christopher De Vos have created the perfect wardrobe for the new wave of fashionable futurism.
