Last days in Paris
Paris is abuzz with life and energy during fashion week and no one experiences it quite like the models who walk the shows. After four weeks of traveling around the world and bringing the finest designs to life the girls are ready for one last hurrah and the calm the follows the storm. Photographer Daniella Rech captured the season’s most fashionable stars – Karlie, Magdalena, Daphne, Daria and more – during those precious minutes of downtime between shows. maybe this wasn’t the intention but i feel like this glamorizes smoking.
its sad because i knew some of these girls before they became smokers. its always sad to see someone so young pick it up so soon

I’m really tired of all of the anti-smoking attitudes. I smoke and I am a conscientious smoker. Never in non smokers cars homes spaces etc. I understand the second hand smoke issue, but it has been carried too far. Smoking isn’t the topic of the photos. Life is the topic. It’s theirs allow them to experience it how they see fit. I am almost 50 now and have smoked since I was 16 years of age. I have lived through both extremes and there must be a happy medium.

They are all beautiful but I gotta say Daphne has an incredible start to what I’m sure will be a career to remember. She started very young and if I’m not mistaken her mother travels with her. I wish them all the best and can’t wait for 2013 shows.

Robert, I think most comments regarding smoking here are not due to an “anti-smoking attitude” against smokers. I think the heart of the matter is that these young beautiful girls are damaging their health. People are just concerned about them. We all know how difficult it is to stop smoking. We also know how damaging smoking can be. Better not to start in the first place, wouldn’t you agree?

The smoking does not bother me at all, they do it with class, just like in the good old days…
