Christopher Kane S/S 2012 Video
Christopher Kane’s vision of femininity has always been innovative. Able to take a single point of reference and work it into every possible variation, Kane’s unique perspective has taken influences as diverse as the Hubble telescope and Princess Margaret and worked them into designs charming enough to impress editors and fans alike. This season he looks to peeling wallpaper and chic 60s girls to create a look that was coy and captivating. Light colors and metallic textures provided a visual treat, while dresses crafted with aluminum organza and applique flowers displayed Kane’s skillful technique. All in all, Kane’s spring collection served as a showcase for the kind of outside the box ideas only London fashion week can provide.
