Ann Demeulemeester S/S 11

Posted by Stephan Moskovic | October 3rd, 2010

The Ann Demeulemeester woman is not a pushover; in a season dominated by frills and fragility, Demeulemeester presents a vision of feminine strength and power. Her futuristic spring collection was heavy on leather, lacquer and in your face cuts that went beyond body conscious; thigh high slits added an erotic undercurrent to the stark severity. Lean shapes and the complete absence of color added to the edgy feel, as did the inclusion of a fencing motif that included mesh masks and leather plastrons.

FLO GENNARO is with TATI my favorite argentine model, is so great!

  3. great clothes! cool eyebrows, and at least Paris (unlike fashion week in NY) still uses lots of girls that ARE models, great girls here

  4. Irene says:

    Ann stands for aweseome.

  5. good to see this here again, similar eye wrap to Victor & Rolf…who was first with that? Great designs here, very sexy asymmetrical patterns, great layers, and awesome girls…

(regarding my comment made earlier, I meant that too many shows seen in NYC have too many models that do not look fashion or runway, but more commercial print or plus size division, Paris is wise enough to stick to real fashion models fully)

  6. maxx says:

    just great i love it.
