Diversity Rules! Part 3: IMG
I have addressed the industry by having town hall meetings, gaining international media support, even naming those who lack the sense of responsibility of incorporating models of color. And after being given the CFDA’s Founders Award in June 2014 for upfront confrontation and determination to change how things are done and seen, still we lag at where we should be as an industry.
Surely there has been some improvement.
Where there is clear improvement over the years…are the model agencies. They have improved their inclusion of the model of color and continue to seek those beauties.
So I decided, instead of looking at what and where it isn’t happening (for now), to show where it continues to grow. There are agencies with far more ethnic models than others, but there are many still open to growth.
I decided to reflect what I saw here with the support of Models.com and the model agencies.
We are continuing our series with IMG New York.
It was truly my pleasure and pride, to see and meet the models that I selected to represent their agencies and to link the others the agency represented as well.
No doubt, it’s a beautiful movement.”

Always been crazy about Jeneil and Senait
I think the idea of the diversity in modelling is great because often when I buy a vogue magazine its the same person or colour on the magazine and quiet often on catwalks, but sometimes we need to remember that maybe other colours focus on having another life than being a model so we can blame the fashion designers and art directors.
I’d love to see a male version of this too. Diversity is great in general.
Hello,
How I have a possibility to schow my proffesional photos from last photossesion?

Where is imaan hammam?
Where is Fatima
While the diversity in modeling is being showcased here, how many shows during the main fashion weeks are/were/will be opened or closed by non-white models? Few, unfortunately, very few.
Senait Gidey’s beauty is pure brilliance. the pouty lips, tight jaw line, well defined nose, voluminous giraffe eyelashes. Modeling is absolutely what she should be doing with her life.
Hello, I am a freelance visual journalist/data visualization designer with UCBerkeley Graduate School of Journalism. I am very interested in doing a data visualization project to explore diversity in the modeling industry over years. Does anyone know where can I find usable data? I know I can go through agency’s packages to collect the data myself but I wonder if there’s any available data online somewhere? If anyone has any leads, please email me at [email protected]
I love the world of fashion. here I appreciate your front layout on each Templates. Seeing them introduce Hummanise your Company through its models. .and it’s done. The text is a tradition of French, so excuse me if there are imperfections
