The newest face at the November 15th taping of the Victoria’s Secret 2008 show: Spain’s Clara Alonso. Discovered by top casting director, John Pfeiffer, during Milan shows, the leggy beauty from Traffic Models Barcelona, Women Milan, Next NY has a sensuous appeal that one gets right away. With her lithesome grace and the seductive Spanish personality, expect Ms Alonso’s star to be fast rising.

Rosie Huntington Whiteley and Sam Riley star in the new F/W 08 Burberry campaign shot by Mario Testino. Rosie is a young English beauty distantly related to the Queen of England and Sam Riley, a young English actor, has been recently feted for his role in “Control”. MDC definitely knew that something was in the works for Rosie when Christopher Bailey, creative director at Burberry, brought her to the Met Costume Ball. We love how the 150 year old British fashion house continues to use English models for its campaigns.

Isabeli Fontana, is having one of her best seasons ever for fall/winter 08. Here’s the first of her campaigns, Roberto Cavalli shot by Inez and Vinoodh. Models like Isabeli (mother of 2), Natalia Vodianova (mother of 3) and Stephanie Seymour (mother of 4) prove that motherhood makes these gorgeous creatures more womanly and even more most wanted. Perhaps we’ll be seeing more campaigns like the 2003 Gucci ads with Nadine Willis…
