Back to Basics

February 14th, 2012 |Posted by Betty

The latest L’Officiel Hommes Italia, the second under new EIC, Pablo Arroyo, brings models back to the cover and we’re not complaining, especially when it’s someone as iconic as male modeling mainstay Werner Schreyer (wearing Dior Homme) as photographed by Tomo Brejc and styled by fashion director of L’OHI, Emil Rebek. Actor Max Irons along with Tyson Ballou, Andre Feulner, David Kammenos and Bastiaan Van Gaalen round out the cast of the new issue, hitting the stands this week.

Go West

December 14th, 2010 |Posted by Betty

Werner Schreyer‘s unforgettable visage graces the latest GQ UK in a tale of the American West by Guzman. Jo Levin expertly mixes Levi’s with Dolce & Gabbana/Just Cavalli which combined with Mr Schreyer’s sharp elegance makes for a timeless editorial.

Gentleman’s Club

July 2nd, 2009 |Posted by Janelle

Campaign season isn’t just for the ladies. Modeling’s top boys are making waves in a slew of ads with sophisticated flair. Werner Schreyer looks like a million bucks for Hugo by Hugo Boss, photographed by Jean-Francois Carly. Cutting a dashing figure in black and white, Schreyer looks like he stepped out of a classic film.

For Tru Trussardi the perpetually sexy, Garrett Neff looks as appealing as ever. Clad in a simple black coat and pants Garrett strikes as sensual pose for Milan Vukmirovic and shows that he can be just as alluring all dressed up as he is stripped down.

The Men

March 23rd, 2009 |Posted by Janelle

Hedi Slimane uncovers the souls of his subjects, capturing something raw and unpolished in every picture he takes. For Vogue Hommes International Slimane pays tribute to male modeling icons Mark Vanderloo, Werner Schreyer, Larry Scott, Andree Van Noord & Greg Hansen with a special stripped down portfolio of classic Slimane black and whites. There is nothing childish about these seasoned industry veterans, they’re men through and through and their pictures all but crackle with masculinity and poise.
