Anja In Bloom

March 26th, 2013 |Posted by Janelle

Prepare for a double dose of Anja Rubik in the latest issue of Vogue Turkey. Cuneyt Akeroglu shows two very different sides of the blonde beauty in dual stories for Vogue. For the newsstand cover and accompanying editorial, Akeroglu plays up Rubik’s skill for posing with studio portraits that highlight her timeless beauty and a well edited selection of dramatic spring looks – most notably that intricately embroidered Balmain dress on the cover. For Anja’s interview and the subscribers cover the focus is all about nature and sweetness, with Anja laying in a bed of flowers and looking fresh as a daisy; both sets of images provide an elegant showcase for one of the most versatile models in the business.

One & Only

November 27th, 2012 |Posted by Janelle

It is always nice to see Joan Smalls‘ smiling face on a magazine covers, so the newest issue of Vogue Turkey is an automatic delight. Shot by Cuneyt Akeroglu and featuring a smiling, dancing Joan doing what she does best – adding a touch of vibrancy to each image with her trademark poise. Akeroglu’s gorgeous black and white shots put Joan’s grace to good use, making her looking as elegant as is humanly possible. All in all the issue provides a fitting showcase for the world’s number one model – call us biased, but we’re especially partial to the Models.com shoutout in the interview!

Two Sides

March 22nd, 2012 |Posted by Janelle

Cuneyt Akeroglu captures two sides of the luminous Lara Stone for Vogue Turkey‘s latest issue with elegant covers that capture the essence of this generation’s premier model. First Lara as herself, in a simple black and white shot that showcases the woman behind the sexed-up image and high profile campaigns. The shot is simple, evocative and 100% Lara. For a taste of fashion fantasy the second cover features La Lara as an 80s power beauty, straight out of a Patrick Nagel illustration. Dark hair, bold lips and a come hither glare that would leave lesser men shaking in their boots.

We love both covers, but which will you be picking up when the issue hits newsstands?

Platinum Life

August 30th, 2011 |Posted by Janelle

Cuneyt Akeroglu shows another side of supermodel Natalia Vodianova, for Vogue Turkey‘s September issue. Sporting short, bleach blonde locks and ornate designs from Balmain, Natalia is nearly unrecognizable: if it weren’t for those trademark brows we would have sworn these were shots of another girl! What do you think of this extreme makeover – are you loving it, or do you prefer Natalia’s original color?
