PETA and the fashion industry have never seen eye to eye, but lately it feels like fur is popping up in more and editorials. Case in point Vogue Russia‘s latest ode to all things furry starring Maryna Linchuk. Shot by Mariano Vivanco and featuring every label from Alexander McQueen to Topshop the story really shows just how pervasive this trend is. Pelts aside the styling by Olga Dunina adds to the folklore feel of Vivanco’s imagery and Maryna looks elegant as always.

Rockstars and models have never been able to resist each other – Mick Jagger and Jerry Hall, David Bowie and Iman, Seal and Heidi Klum, the list goes on and on. Vogue Russia‘s November issue devotes itself to the latest couple to merge the best of music and fashion – the stunning Anne Vyalitsyna and her boyfriend Maroon 5′s Adam Levine. The photogenic twosome goes au naturel for Alix Malka‘s images and it makes for one steamy shoot.

A wild shock of color is bound to grab your attention and Vogue Russia‘s ultra-bright hair story by Victor Demarchelier is impossible to ignore. Britt Maren and Jana Knauerova have their short crops transformed by Didier Malige while Yadim Carranza gives them outlandish makeup to match. The final result is an energetic take on the season’s wildest hair trends, complimented by Melanie Huynh‘s gorgeous selection of designer pieces by Comme des Garcons, Miu Miu and Balenciaga.

Vogue Russia has never shied away from all out glamour: the often ostentatious looks that grace their pages offer a taste of maximalism, but August’s cover story with Daria Strokous takes a subtler approach. The luxurious details are all there in Mariano Vivanco‘s images: gold jewelry, oversized hats, ornate furs yet Ekaterina Mukhina‘s styling looks effortless. Andrey Zakharov joins Daria for a little one on one and they make for an ultra-cool couple.

Mariano Vivanco presents Anna Selezneva as the ultimate vixen in Vogue Russia. Dressed in minimal looks by Fendi and Jil Sander, Anna manages to radiate over the top elegance with her skilled posing. The all white styling by Ekaterina Mukhina works beautifully with the opulent locations, as do those incredible color-blocked Louboutins.
