Art Class

June 9th, 2014 |Posted by Janelle

The art and fashion worlds are more intertwined than ever so the latest Numéro with its creative tributes & collaborations with some of the world’s most notable artists feels timely. The homages to artists like Robert Longo, Sylvie Fleury and Alex Katz provide the issue with some of the most interesting content we’ve ever seen in Numero and the issue’s striking covers bring out the best in their stunning subjects. Constance Jablonski sports head to toe ombre in the style of Alex Israel’s panel paintings in a sensual shot by Benny Horne. Karen Elson poses in front of Sarah Morris’ oversize geometric murals while wearing pieces from Balmain and Saint Laurent. Sasha Luss is seductive in a series of Daniel Sannwald (Management + Artists) images influenced by the provocative work of Ida Tursic & Wilfred Mille. The contemporary art theme continues inside with an exclusive interview of influential gallerist, Larry Gagosian.

First Look: Intermission DK

June 15th, 2012 |Posted by Janelle

As one of the sleekest glossies on the scene, Intermission Magazine never fails to deliver something different and with their new launch of their first Danish edition – Intermission DK, they create an elegant new addition to their growing brand. Case in point, their ultra-chic new covers featuring girls of the moment Marie Piovesan and Katryn Kruger clad in Balenciaga and Celine. The images shot by John Scarisbrick and styled by Daniel Magnussen and Vanessa Traina (New York: Management + Artists, Paris: Management + Artists) are engaging and fresh. (Look for it on newsstands this August)
