Harley Kloss

October 3rd, 2013 |Posted by models.com

Karlie Kloss goes biker-chic in “Vive Allure” by Katja Rahlwes (Paris: Management + Artists, New York: Management + Artists) for Vogue Paris. In the sultry editorial, Kloss takes a motorcycle ride through the country, showing off her wild side in embellished denim and tribal accessories. Her signature bob looks perfectly “undone” and is paired with a smoky eye to capture the essence of the edgy shoot. Kloss doesn’t typically strike us as a Harley Davidson girl, but once again she convinces us that she can do just about anything. Vogue Paris takes Joan Smalls and Hailey Clauson into coquettish territory in a lovely new story by Josh Olins. Wearing elegant pieces chosen by Veronique Didry, Joan and Hailey shine in polka-dots, leopard prints and a series of black berets. Looking carefree and seductive, the duo walk matching pooches through the streets and pout while lounging on the grass in Celine and David Yurman. Life is just a day in the park for these beauties and for anyone who says different, Joan has a few choice gestures for them.

Knoepfel & Indlekofer, get dark and deadly for the latest Vogue Paris, shooting Anja Rubik clad in brilliant gems and giant snakes for the Bijoux feature. Veronique Didry‘s styling makes it hard to tell where the clothes end and the snakes begin, but that only serves to make the images even more intriguing. Given that this is the second snake-centric story in under a week, could we be seeing the beginnings of a trend?

The Legend of Lauren

March 30th, 2009 |Posted by Janelle

With the Met’s Model As Muse exhibition little more than a month away, more and more publications are looking to models as a source of fashion inspiration. This month Vogue Paris salutes the legendary style of Lauren Hutton within its pages. Knoepfel & Indlekofer capture Laura Blokhina looking luxe while Veronique Didry‘s savvy styling nails the laid back 70s glamour that Hutton personified. With her high cheekbones and languid demeanor Blokhina is the absolute spitting image of Lauren in her youth and serves to remind us of all those amazing Lauren moments over the years.
