The labels may be different, but there is a spirt that unites the many lines of the Calvin Klein empire. During campaign season the mega-brand always manages to create a stir and for fall they unveil five new campaigns, distinctive yet unmistakably Calvin. Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott (Art Partner) shoot Calvin Klein Jeans & Underwear enlisting Lara Stone and Matthew Terry to provide the prerequisite sex appeal. The #mycalvins hashtag is emblazoned across Mert & Marcus’ beautiful black and white portraits of the duo and is sure to resonate with the social media obsessed.
For Calvin Klein Collection and Platinum advertising David Sims shoots serene images of CK favorites Vanessa Axente and Clark Bockelman sporting the memorable F/W collections with stylish flair. The collection ads with their striking mountainside backdrop provide an especially beautiful showcase for Sims’ minimal style.
Last but certainly not least, familiar faces Edita Vilkeviciute and Tyson Ballou make a perfect couple in the pared down ads for White Label. Sporting coordinating tweeds and knits and looking cooler than thou in Daniel Jackson‘s shots the duo are ideal Calvin representatives conveying exactly the right amount of urban chic.
