The Remix

March 27th, 2012 |Posted by Janelle

It is always exciting when a magazine undergoes a major revamp and Tush does a complete 180 with their latest issue. Art director, Mirko Borsche shakes things up with a sleek redesign that changes everything. The magazine is bolder, stronger and more graphic than ever, with black and white stories dominating and new creative content by some of our favorite image makers. Take a look at Tush’s redefined identity and that one of a kind cover starring Melissa Tammerijn.

V’s Discovery issue, focuses on the best and brightest of new fashion talent and that includes a round up of fresh models. Shot in crisp black and white by photo duo Danielle Duella and Iango Henzi and styled to perfection by Sabina Schreder the group looks stunning. As always Luigi Murenu‘s hair artistry is a standout, with bold looks that highlight the beauty of each girl.

Black Sabbath

May 11th, 2009 |Posted by Janelle

The best story in Vogue Italia this month is also the darkest. Craig McDean eschews his signature prismatic colors for deep dark tones and a sense of mystery. Evelina Mambetova, Suzie Bird, Jourdan Dunn, Eniko Mihalik & Magdalena Frackowiak are the vampiric muses behind the artist’s work and each girl takes to the theme like its second nature. With all the sweetness and light (read: boring) spring stories floating around right now this little detour into darkness is a welcome respite from the mundane.

The Young & The Restless

March 19th, 2009 |Posted by Janelle

The hottest fresh faces are front and center for V. Katie Fogarty, Suzie Bird, Evelina Mambetova & Darya Kurovska bring their innate cool to Josh Olins’ appropriately titled ‘Young Guns’ story. Displaying the latest wares from youthful designers like Rad Hourani and Alexander Wang, they look every bit as cutting edge as the clothes they’re displaying – what better way to show off design’s rising forces than to utilize the talents of burgeoning editorial stars.
