Sharif Hamza‘s latest editorial for Vogue Russia boasts a flawless cast, unique styling and some incredibly cool shots. The blue tinted moody story features Simon Robins‘ eclectic mix of designer labels that tackles every seasonal trend imaginable; minimal, maximal, plain ol’ over the top – it is all there. Of course almost any trend would look good in this lineup, Coco Rocha, Ana Beatriz Barros, Ylonka Verheul, Jeneil Williams, Dree Hemingway, Sedene Blake, Alessandra Ambrosio and Patricia van der Vliet work each look to the fullest possible extent.

Into the Groove

Vogue Russia serves up a dose of in your face beauty with a lively editorial from Terry Tsiolis starring Sedene Blake, Jeneil Williams, Reina Montero, Shena Moulton and Aminata Niaria. The studio shoot is elevated by Simon Robins‘ color coordinated styling; pieces from Lagerfeld, Viktor and Rolf and Topshop are mixed together to create a series of seamless ensembles, but the clothes aren’t the only standout. Each of the girls brings her own flair to the story with graceful and energetic poses; whether they’re fighting over a camo-fanny pack or moving to the rhythm, they look stunning.

Featuring the mysterious Antonella Graef, the Simon Robins styled jewelry editorial reveals the flirtatious and seductive side of the Argentine who wears the season’s prettiest accessories. As Marilyn Monroe said best, “Talk to me Harry Winston”!

Vintage Finds

Were used to seeing Ranya Mordanova looking edgy in jet black Givenchy, so it is nice every now and then to get a change of pace; KT Auleta shows the retro side of Ranya in the latest Vogue Russia. Dressed in cat eye glasses and full skirts, Ranya looks sweet and lovely. Simon Robins creates the perfect vintage inspired looks, using pieces from Celine and Vuitton and Ranya brings them to life with her signature dramatic flair.

Ranya Mordanova is known for having the kind of surreal look that makes her the perfect model for unorthodox talents like Givenchy’s Riccardo Tisci and or Vogue Russia Tom Munro taps into Ranya’s ability to be the ultimate high fashion canvas by showing her in a variety of designer looks – each one more inventive than the last. Simon Robins‘ haute styling is on point but it is Ranya’s dramatic poise that brings each look to life. She even manages to take Elie Saab’s classic frills look avant garde.
