Well Heeled in the Park

December 9th, 2011 |Posted by Janelle

Sean and Seng take Frida Aasen for a walk in the park in the pages of Numero. Dressed in girlish designs from Valentino and Louis Vuitton, complete with black liner and bouffant Frida is a vision of 60s coquettish charm. In some shots the natural setting creates a cinematic atmosphere, while in others it serves to highlight the otherworldly quality of Frida’s look.

The Art of Cool

December 2nd, 2011 |Posted by Janelle

Sean and Seng capture the strength of the collections and nonchalant chic of Sofia Coppola in a pared down story for 032C. With Kate King channelling all the offbeat charm of Sofia in the 90s in a great mix of fringe, leather and minimal jet black, the story creates a modern and urbane vision of cool.

1991

September 19th, 2011 |Posted by Janelle

Sean and Seng recreate the 90s for Dazed & Confused‘s anniversary issue, enlisting Jourdan Dunn to embody themes from the year of Dazed’s inception. In one shot Jourdan is a petulant Wednesday Adams, in the next she’s capturing the grunge spirit of Nirvana’s album, Nevermind. With exceptional styling by Karen Langley and a tongue in cheek sense of humor, the story does a great job of capturing all that was fun and fabulous about the early 90s era.

Hot Wheels

August 29th, 2011 |Posted by Janelle

Taking cues from classic ZZ Top videos and 1980s pin up lore, Sean and Seng create a sexy story for Pop Magazine featuring Carola Remer. Clad in larger than life furs and little else, Carola pouts on the hood of a sporty red coupe and looks every bit the vixen. Stylist Tamara Rothstein provides the slinky ensembles, while Gemma Smith-Edhouse gives Carola smoky eyes and glossy lips to match.

Toni Award

August 19th, 2011 |Posted by Janelle

Sean and Seng show a new side of the flawless Toni Garrn in the latest issue of Numero. Sporting a short bob, bleached brows and a series of sexy looks crafted by Franck Benhamou, Toni makes for one fabulous femme fatale. The colorful images capture Toni looking confident and just a little dangerous: whether she’s lounging in a sidewalk cafe or tossing a match while wearing snakeskin trousers, Toni is calm, cool and completely in control.

INXS

August 3rd, 2011 |Posted by Janelle

Glamour. Intense, over the top, excessive glamour. We asked for it and Numero delivered with a hard edged shoot by Sean and Seng starring Caroline Brasch Nielsen. The fashions are daring: floor length gowns, statement jewelry and mile high heels abound. The location is stunning: check out that bluer than blue water, and Caroline delights in every shot.

Miller Time

June 15th, 2011 |Posted by Janelle

Sean and Seng take Jessica Miller in new directions for Numero, enlisting the expressive Ms. Miller for a slick studio shoot that makes good use of her skill for expressive posing. Stylist Franck Benhamou dresses Jess in body conscious looks that make use of her toned physique, while Lloyd Simmonds and Franco Gobbi add high gloss hair and makeup for good measure.

Ooh La La!

May 31st, 2011 |Posted by Janelle

It doesn’t take much to make Edita Vilkeviciute look like a million bucks, so Sean and Seng keep it simple for their 032C shoot with the seductive blonde. Styled by Tamara Rothstein in Missoni patterns, chunky sweaters and leather lingerie, Edita looks sexy, yet unconventional.
