The Art of Cool

December 2nd, 2011 |Posted by Janelle

Sean and Seng capture the strength of the collections and nonchalant chic of Sofia Coppola in a pared down story for 032C. With Kate King channelling all the offbeat charm of Sofia in the 90s in a great mix of fringe, leather and minimal jet black, the story creates a modern and urbane vision of cool.

Sean and Seng recreate the 90s for Dazed & Confused‘s anniversary issue, enlisting Jourdan Dunn to embody themes from the year of Dazed’s inception. In one shot Jourdan is a petulant Wednesday Adams, in the next she’s capturing the grunge spirit of Nirvana’s album, Nevermind. With exceptional styling by Karen Langley and a tongue in cheek sense of humor, the story does a great job of capturing all that was fun and fabulous about the early 90s era.

Taking cues from classic ZZ Top videos and 1980s pin up lore, Sean and Seng create a sexy story for Pop Magazine featuring Carola Remer. Clad in larger than life furs and little else, Carola pouts on the hood of a sporty red coupe and looks every bit the vixen. Stylist Tamara Rothstein provides the slinky ensembles, while Gemma Smith-Edhouse gives Carola smoky eyes and glossy lips to match.

Toni Award

August 19th, 2011 |Posted by Janelle

Sean and Seng show a new side of the flawless Toni Garrn in the latest issue of Numero. Sporting a short bob, bleached brows and a series of sexy looks crafted by Franck Benhamou, Toni makes for one fabulous femme fatale. The colorful images capture Toni looking confident and just a little dangerous: whether she’s lounging in a sidewalk cafe or tossing a match while wearing snakeskin trousers, Toni is calm, cool and completely in control.
