Effortless

October 5th, 2010 |Posted by Janelle

Tati Cotliar takes to the pages of Numero with a subtly chic story by Nathaniel Goldberg; the Argentinian beauty brings her laid back style to each picture and looks at home in the autumnal themed images. Samuel Francois‘ soft styling serves to enhance the dreamy and carefree mood of the editorial and all those cozy knits and little jackets look just right on Tati.

Clean Lines

September 1st, 2010 |Posted by Janelle

Sometimes the simplest clothes make for the most engaging portraits; Anthony Maule and stylist, Samuel Francois create a sleek Numéro editorial centered around fall’s minimalist shapes. Using impeccable ensembles from brands like Calvin Klein and Rochas shot in a stripped down high contrast style, Maule crafts a beautiful series of images heightened by Samantha Gradoville‘s strong and sexy presence. The jet black eyebrows, the slicked back hair crafted by Romina Manenti, that incredible red Margiela coat – now this is how you do power dressing!

Elegantly Wasted

July 26th, 2010 |Posted by Janelle

Samuel Francois brings his stylish touch to the pages of Numero with a moody story by Yelena Yemchuk. Using the frilly, floral and feminine pieces that dominated fall’s runways to expert effect, Francois creates a dreamy look that is perfectly attuned to the melancholy mood of Yemchuk’s pictures. Anna de Rijk‘s youthful yet mysterious persona only serves to add to the unusual feel of the images; Anna looks beautiful, but bored by her surroundings and with all the finery that surrounds her one can’t help but wonder why.

Heart of Darkness

April 29th, 2010 |Posted by Janelle

Sofia Sanchez and Mauro Mongiello take Valerija Kelava‘s dark beauty and use it to maximum effect in the latest Numero. The aptly titled ‘Desire’ editorial, is a sleek balance of sexy and dangerous; Valerija looks like a futuristic siren and Samuel Francois‘ daring styling choices fit the story perfectly. Even the aerodynamic hair, courtesty of Romina Manenti, looks completely right.

Jac of All Trades

October 6th, 2009 |Posted by Janelle

Jac is having a great season but runway isn’t her only area of expertise. The willowy teen is also adept at editorial – in the latest Numero, Horst Diekgerdes taps into Jac’s youthful joie de vivre and innate elegance. for a thoroughly charming editorial. Dressed in bohemian luxe ensembles (love Samuel Francois‘ styling here) and given free reign to express herself Jac embodies a laid back, modern chic.

Country Life

March 24th, 2009 |Posted by Janelle

Myf Shepherd enters into a garden of delights for Numero. The lovely Australian looks right at home amidst the flowers and greenery as she poses for Matthias Vriens. The romantic styling courtesy of Samuel Francois ties together the whole look for a back to nature editorial that is delightful and lush.

Siri Dearest

October 20th, 2008 |Posted by Betty

Siri, a Numero favorite, once again strikes gold with her “Mommie Dearest” story for the latest issue of the French glossy, shot by Sofia and Mauro and styled by Samuel Francois. The doll like Norwegian stunner transforms into a fashion version of the Joan Crawford character and showcases the latest fall clothes in a hauntingly vivid manner.
