Essential Homme Celebrates a Half Decade

September 22nd, 2015 |Posted by jonathanshia

Most five-year-olds would be content with little more than an ice-cream cake and a handful of balloons, but not Essential Homme. The menswear magazine celebrates half a decade with five sharp covers for their August/September issue, out now, featuring actors Michael Shannon, Boyd Holbrook, and Shiloh Fernandez, filmmaker Xavier Dolan, and singer Future, all of them men whose flourishing careers point to promising futures. Each cover subject sits for an enlightening shoot and profile within, as do Hermès’ Véronique Nichanian and Steven Kolb, head of the CFDA, who reflects on the inaugural New York Fashion Week Men’s just past. Roberto Sipos embodies the trends of the season, while the military look gets a special focus courtesy of a passel of powerful faces like Serge Rigvava, Ryan Keating, and Ton Heukels.
