Metal Magic

April 15th, 2014 |Posted by models.com

Sport and fashion combine in the pages of METAL Magazine‘s new issue with a spirited selection of editorials that focus on movement, grace and agility. Utilizing the season’s heavily patterned runway pieces and an impressive roster of contributors, Metal creates a youthful vibe that is downright infectious. The dual covers with Nika Cole on the cover in paint splattered Celine set against a graffiti background and Max Lester looking nonchalant in Frederik Heyman’s trippy imagery, set the stage for an issue that pushes into the surreal while exploring the best elements of statement dressing.

First Look : HUSK

December 7th, 2012 |Posted by Janelle

Print may have its up and downs, but everywhere you turn there are exciting independent magazines on the scene adding their unique perspectives to the fashion dialogue. One of our faves, Husk Magazine is back with a new issue filled with idiosyncratic content that shows fashion in a different light. From the striking black and white cover of Julier Bugge, to their amusing interview with fashion week fixture Kelly Cutrone, the magazine always goes for the unexpected. Take a look inside the issue here and be sure to check out Husk Magazine.com for even more.

Jet Black

November 3rd, 2011 |Posted by Janelle

Vogue Italia knows that nothing grabs your attention better than a striking fresh face, no wonder they’ve enlisted the gorgeous Corinna Ingenleuf for a gorgeous edit by Richard Burbridge. With her sleek look and steely gaze, Corrina is the perfect choice for a hard edged story with loads of black leather. We love how effortlessly cool girls like Corrina, Freja Beha Erichsen, and Saskia de Brauw are creating an androgynous model moment. In addition to the gothic pieces, the story syled by Robbie Spencer, the story features a selection of in your face wristwatches from the likes of Cartier & Rolex.

Sense of Self

April 27th, 2010 |Posted by Janelle

Roger Deckker creates images of 70s inspired beauty for Self Service; Filippa Hamilton, Ana Claudia Michels and Rie Rasmussen (all cast by Natalie Joos) star in Dekker’s elegant black and whites, styled by the always inventive Marie Chaix. Each girl represents a different kind of beauty and the larger than life glamour of the  images lets their best shine through.
