Oyster Bar

Oyster‘s latest issue has music on the mind and as always the magazine marches to the beat of its own drum. The smiley face rhinestones attached to Anais Pouliot‘s forehead on the cover, get you ready for an issue that makes you grin from cover to cover. Whether it is actress / musician / Balenciaga muse Charlotte Gainsbourg posing for photos on the floor of her living room, or Tatiana Cotliar as a screaming Beatles fan, the imagery is upbeat, beautiful and perfectly suited to the musical theme.

Serpent’s Kiss

December 12th, 2011 |Posted by Janelle

The latest edition of Oyster Magazine features the dangerous curves of Daisy Lowe and a slithering serpent twisting its way around her body. The imagery is classic, a beautiful woman as the ultimate temptation, a motif we’ve seen in everything from renaissance paintings to Avedon portraits, but Will Davidson makes it feel fresh. Focusing on the slinky selection of Stella McCartneyLouis Vuitton & Azzedine Alaia chosen by Stevie Dance and Daisy’s sixties chic look, Davidson crafts a story that is stark yet sensual.
