First Look: Lurve Magazine

April 8th, 2016 |Posted by Irene Ojo-Felix

10 issues is certainly a milestone and Lurve Magazine celebrates its anniversary with a “compulsory party” introducing their readers to some of the best and brightest faces on their pages. Supermodel Laetitia Casta is a masterpiece amongst works of art from the Centre Pompidou as she graces the cover of the biannual Paris publication that aims to connect fashion, photography, and art in the most unexpected, vibrant ways. Shot by Giasco Bertoli and styled by Moreno Galatà, the sultry pin-up finesses pieces from Miu Miu, Louis Vuitton, and Maison Margiela with grace, while newcomers Mayowa Nicholas and Soekie Gravenhorst are brought into the mix adorned with shiny paillettes from Prada, plaid Céline trousers, and fierce attitudes.

SSAW Muses on the Offbeat

April 5th, 2016 |Posted by steven.yatsko

For its Spring Summer 2016 issue, SSAW Magazine inks its pages with the dreamy offbeat, enlisting photographers like  Nan Goldin and Sarah Moon to pitch in their visions for four very different covers. Inside and out, from the maximalist cover editorial with Lina Berg shot by Tina Barney and styled by Clare Byrne or Lea Colombo‘s minimally, moody makings, the issue has a knack for cohabiting varied visuals. Sporty Spice

June 18th, 2014 |Posted by Janelle

Sport is a popular theme this month with several magazines looking to the World Cup and pre-fall’s energetic collections for inspiration. Vogue Russia offers a fashionable take on the theme with Jason Kibbler‘s (Cadence New York) spirited cover story starring Sam Rollinson. With fashion by Olga Dunina and icy makeup by Benjamin Puckey (New York: D + V Management, London: D + V Management ) the story captures the athletic and chic mood aptly, pairing striped jumpers with designer sneakers and metallic pullovers galore. The casual luxe styling suits Sam perfectly with each look complimenting her own easy-going vibe, even when the accessories include a football.
