In its new issue for Spring/Summer 2016, the menswear magazine Fucking Young asks what it means to be an outsider in today’s increasingly interconnected world. Cover star Olly Alexander, actor and lead singer of Years & Years, speaks about being openly gay in the entertainment industry to go along with a colorful feature art directed by Nicola Formichetti and shot by Matt Irwin. The rest of the issue covers other sorts of outsiders, some by choice (nudists) and others less so (the Amish). Designers Demna Gvasalia and Henrik Silvius discuss their singular visions for fashion, while Josh Hight captures a portfolio of models whose unconventional skin only adds to their appeal. Looking abroad, Filip y Kito take a cheeky look at North Korea, and Michiel Meewis and Michael Darlington capture Oliver Greenall, George Admiraal, and Dylan Hartigan in a moody tribute to the iconoclastic director Pier Paolo Pasolini.
