Bad girls do it well in Alexander Wang’s cheeky spring ads, Steven Klein shoots in a bathroom stall as Anna Ewers poses in one of Wang’s memorable parental advisory mesh tops. The gritty vibe is underscored by Karl Templer‘s styling and creative direction by Pascal Dangin.

Given that we’re right in the middle of awards season, Miu Miu’s actress fronted campaign seems especially timely. Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin shoot an array of rising stars including fashion favorites Lupita Nyong’o, Elle Fanning, Elizabeth Olsen and Bella Heathcote

TOM FORD

When you wear Tom Ford, all eyes are on you so it only seems fitting that the designer’s S/S 14 campaign centers around a crowdsurfing theme. Models Esther HeeschConrad Bromfield and Carlos Peters get carried away – literally – as Ford shoots them in glamorous pieces from his ready to wear, eyewear and accessories empire.

Twin Shadow

Twin Magazine refined mix of luxe fashion and first rate visuals makes it stand out from the typical newsstand fare. The latest issue is heavy on modeling stars and top tier photographers Ben Weller shoots Sam Rollinson in the countryside looking sweet in pieces from Burberry and Miu Miu, while Constance Jablonski shows a sexy side in Nick Dorey‘s (New York: D + V Management, London: D + V Management ) atmospheric black and whites. Eternal favorites Jamie Bochert and Kirsten Owen add edge to the entire endeavor, with off-kilter editorials that showcase their skill for capturing the essence of any scenario. In Scott Trindle (New York: Management + Artists, Paris: Management + Artists)’s story Owen goes grunge wearing patterned ready to wear against a gritty real world backdrop. Meanwhile, Bochert allows a window into her private life with an accompanying interview that shares her influences and passions.

Resort Roundup

Campaigns are debuting left and right, with fashion labels showcasing their finest wares for the resort and beyond.

CHANEL

Another always-anticipated Chanel campaign has arrived. Ashleigh Good, Nadja Bender, and Dalianah Arekion are featured in an unusual yet beautiful1920’s inspired ad for Chanel Cruise 2014, photographed by none other than Karl Lagerfeld himself. Look closely and you can see Ms. Bender sporting a mustache, which has some speculating this represents Coco Chanel’s rumored affair with Salvador Dali.

BOTTEGA VENETA

Bottega Veneta teamed up with famous art photographer, David Armstrong to shoot the latest resort campaign for the brand. The campaign features the beautiful Laura Love and Lucas Mascarini in styles rich with details and embroidery, perfectly embodying the practicality and comfort of Bottega Veneta’s finely crafted designs.

MIU MIU

Youthful, bold, and vivid – three words to sum up Miu Miu’s resort campaign, which features actresses Léa Seydoux and Adele Exarchopoulos from the controversial film Blue is the Warmest Color. The iconic duo Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin shot the campaign, which features the French actresses in vibrant prints and patters, perfect for anyone who loves to make a statement.

GUCCI ACCESSORIES

Sølve Sundsbø shoots Nadja Bender for Gucci’s latest accessories campaign, showcasing a new version of the line’s Bamboo Bag. The always stunning Ms. Bender stands out in a plunging white ensemble appearing completely elegant yet relaxed. The campaign perfectly embodies all things Gucci with its upscale sophistication.

Summer’s End

The Miu Miu Age

In 1993 the Miu Miu line launched as an offshoot of Miuccia Prada‘s creative empire. With an ultra-feminine point of a view and a youthful, eclectic design sensibility the label quickly came into its own. Rising from a secondary project into a full-fledged powerhouse of its own, Miu Miu has grown exponentially, becoming a favorite label of insiders and celebrities alike. Over the years there have countless memorable moments of Miu and in their latest issue Dazed & Confused travels back through the archives with an atmospheric edit by Ben Toms. Sweetness & Light

The world of beekeeping might seem like an unusual choice of subject matter for a fashion editorial, but in the capable hands of photographer Will Davidson it makes for a compelling and beautiful story. Styled by Jillian Davison and featuring an array of feminine designs from Miu Miu, Rochas, Dior and of course Alexander McQueen, the Vogue Australia images tell a romantic tale with plenty of visual oomph. Models Cassi Van Den Dungen and Lucas Pittaway, look resplendent in Davidson’s images, while the combo of cutting-edge clothes and atmospheric mood make for an especially memorable series.

The Sharper Image

Far from being simply the icing on the campaign cake, films are becoming one of the primary ways fashion brands communicate with their audience. This season a slew of labels old and new came out with enticing videos to accompany their seasonal imagery. More than just pimping out product these videos create an aspirational vision of the viewpoint behind their respective brands.

PRADA

Miuccia Prada‘s esoteric perspective is one of the primary reason’s why Prada is one of the definitive brands of the last century. Steven Meisel takes that ethos and channels it into a chess-centric and haunting film filled with unanswered questions. The presence of  Vanessa AxenteMagdalena FrackowiakMadison HeadrickElza LuijendijkIselin Steiro & Anne Vyalitsyna certainly doesn’t hurt either.

BIBHU MOHAPATRA

Director Katie Fischer brings Bibhu Mohapatra’s sumptuous fall showing to life with an elegant film that shows the collection’s beauty in great detail, Fischer’s film captures the line’s beauty and its luxury. Kaleidoscopic facets hone in on every last detail; from the snowy white eyeshadow on Mackenzie Hamilton‘s lids to the ombre finish of a showstopper dress.

T by ALEXANDER WANG

We’re always partial to models over celebrities, but sometimes a little star power works. Alexander Wang brings in hip hop’s fiercest femme, Azealia Banks for the T by Alexander Wang campaign video, directed by Daniel Jackson and styled by Alastair McKimm. Bringing energy, style and her infectious track, Van Vogue to the project Banks feels like just what the doctor ordered.

MIU MIU

Miu Miu’s behind the scenes vid isn’t unusual, but it features the unique pleasure of watching style icon Chloe Sevigny trying on clothes. There are whole issues of Self Service dedicated to this very concept and though Chloe has been on the scene since the mid-90s she’s still an ideal representation of the chic Miu Miu girl.
