First Look : HUSK

December 7th, 2012 |Posted by Janelle

Print may have its up and downs, but everywhere you turn there are exciting independent magazines on the scene adding their unique perspectives to the fashion dialogue. One of our faves, Husk Magazine is back with a new issue filled with idiosyncratic content that shows fashion in a different light. From the striking black and white cover of Julier Bugge, to their amusing interview with fashion week fixture Kelly Cutrone, the magazine always goes for the unexpected. Take a look inside the issue here and be sure to check out Husk for even more.

Even on crutches, Chad White supports the cause. (All photos/ story by Gary Mazrek for MDC)

The Model Home Project teamed up with Toys for Tots and Songs for Soldiers to put together a wonderful event last week.  Many faces from Major Model Management‘s men’s division showed up in support of fellow model Jon Passavant, who is the co-founder of Model Home Project.  The fundraiser was headlined by football star Terrell Owens and Zach Roerig from the hit series “The Vampire Diaries“.  Congratulations to everyone involved for putting together another successful and meaningful event!  (For more on Model Home Project see our video interview with Jon Passavant and check out their website).

Viva Hollywood

November 20th, 2008 |Posted by Janelle

Pop art meets high fashion in the new W. Inez and Vinoodh hit Hollywood to capture a slice of artistic Americana as Sessilee Lopez leads the charge. Sporting chic ready to wear and a host of larger than life add-ons like oversized jello boxes and gigantic shoes, Sessilee balances Hollyweird oddity with L.A. cool perfectly.
