Campaign Trail

January 3rd, 2011 |Posted by Janelle

Who doesn’t love a good campaign? Spring ads keep coming in and this season’s take on brand imagery is looking quite nice. Tom Ford offers up a 70s inspired treat featuring Abbey Lee Kershaw wearing his signature oversized shades and pieces from his heavily hyped collection. Meanwhile, Roberto Cavalli gives us Laetitia Casta and Malgosia Bela looking stunning in scales and fringe; the Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott images are light and girly. Vera Wang’s vision for spring includes the radiant Shu Pei, whose unique beauty and poise in front of the camera work perfectly with Wang’s romantic aesthetic.

Mae Day

July 15th, 2010 |Posted by Janelle

Laetitia Casta takes on the role of Mae West for Harper’s Bazaar in a special editorial by Jean Paul Goude; the tongue in cheek tale follows Laetitia as she reenacts many of Mae’s classic moments. Known for her bawdy humor and come-hither attire, West was the perfect muse for the sexy story which features a slew of over the top couture pieces. It doesn’t get more lavish than Laetitia acting as tiger trainer in head to toe Dior.

The Body

May 28th, 2010 |Posted by Janelle

Like Lara Stone and Laetitia Casta before her, Ashley Smith is in the possession of the kind of body that just won’t quit. Her enviable curves have made her the most buzzed about girl of the moment and the Texan beauty shows them off in the latest i-D, with a revealing editorial by Will Davidson. Even in a plaid shirt and menswear style briefs, Ashley radiates the kind of sensuality that you just can’t teach.

La Casta

December 2nd, 2009 |Posted by Janelle

Laetitia Casta is the quintessential French supermodel, so it is no wonder that the latest edition of Vogue Paris is dedicated entirely to her. Casta’s beauty is highlighted by several different photographers and she serves as guest editor of this very special edition : we cannot think of a better way to round out a decade of Vogue Paris.
