Prada is always a campaign to watch each season and not just to see what engaging concept Steven Meisel comes up with next. The girls chosen for Prada have a habit of becoming sensations, which makes this season’s selections all the more intriguing. Kendra Spears, Julia Hafstrom and Anna de Rijk join Prada’s signature face Ymre Stiekema for an eerie image that combines cinematic mystery with Prada’s special breed of luxury.

Mariano Vivanco creates a savage look for Dazed and Confused with covergirl Kendra Spears. AJ Abualrub and new face Roy Pratt look dangerous in feathers and jet black. Nicola Formichetti‘s gothic styling adds a touch of the sinister but the whole story feels wonderfully daring.

Kendra Spears is a bombshell in training. As the greatest gift MySpace ever gave to the world (sorry Tila Tequila) Ms. Spears is one of the most supermodel-esque new faces to emerge in a long while. In the latest issue of Flair Chad Pitman brings out the 90s diva in Kendra as she poses in swimwear and looks very Cindy C. With all the old school supermodels snagging campaigns and covers isn’t it nice to see a new girl who brings that same feel?

Two of our favorite up and coming models in just released images do much to brighten the holiday weekend. Kendra Spears in her in-store ads for Calvin Klein Swim photographed by up and coming photographer Sebastian Kim looks effortlessly chic and beautiful in a must have white 2 piece CK suit. Lyle Lodwick in Topman by Collier Schorr is a brilliant casting choice; his uniquely strong features are a perfect foil for the line’s enviably cool British togs.

Another season, another issue of French chock full of the hottest girls. This time around they’re all high gloss and decked out in slinky swimwear. With so many great girls to choose from the hardest part might be picking a cover. Arlenis Sosa, Atuai Deng, Adriana Lima, Aminata Niaria, Giedre Dukauskaite, Kendra Spears, Karmen Pedaru, Sessilee Lopez, Anna Gushina, Liberty Ross & Ali Stephens all make appearances on separate covers shot by Thierry LeGoues.

Kendra Spears was one of the clear standouts of S/S 09. With a strong showing on the catwalks of Milan and Paris Spears made her presence felt. The lanky beauty now graces the November issue of Cover, showing off the natural charm and beauty mark that have garnered her comparisons to that most quintessentially American of supermodels, Cindy Crawford.
