First Look: Narcisse

June 23rd, 2014 |Posted by Janelle

For their 2nd issue sleek beauty publication, Narcisse focuses on the meaningful issue of time. Age and fashion often seem at odds, but Narcisse approaches the subject with style and wit, featuring models like 67 year old sensation Eveline Hall to 20somethings Anais Pouliot, Chiharu OkunugiEniko Mihalik and Katrin Thormann. With exploration of the nature of beauty as Narcisse’s core concept, the issue consistently presents its subjects at their most radiant. Whether it is Alexandre Cunha looking chiseled from marble in David Ferrua‘s images, or Chiharu’s elegant face reflected onto shards of glass every image presents a beautiful and modern viewpoint worthy of the name Narcisse.

Angel Eyes

July 14th, 2009 |Posted by Janelle

Katrin Thormann, is one of the most classically beautiful faces around. Her strong, yet elegant look makes her a perfect face for beauty themed editorials. This month’s Vogue Germany devotes a whole portfolio to Katrin’s sultry poses and Linda Cantello‘s makeup artistry. Daniel Jackson shoots Katrin looking perfect in little more than statement jewels and eyeliner as she gives the camera her most powerful gaze.
