As the king of the artist collaboration Marc Jacobs has been able to pull in some real heavy hitters over the years to work with Louis Vuitton. Who can forget the mega-brand’s collaborations with Richard Prince, Julie Verhoeven and perhaps most famously, Takashi Murakami. Previous collabos aside, LV may have outdone itself with their collection created with Japanese art legend, Yayoi Kusama. Each piece is covered in Kusama’s signature psychedelic dot prints, but boasts a very LV take on chic. Dazed & Confused features the collection in a story by Leigh Johnson, featuring Tilda Lindstam. The shoot styled by Karen Langley captures Tilda’s innate cool and the appealing wearability of the designs.

As one of the foremost fashion illustrators of all time, René Gruau made a lasting impact on the fashion industry. His work for designers like Christian Dior, Jacques Fath, Balenciaga, Elsa Schiaparelli, Pierre Balmain and Hubert de Givenchy, elevated their legendary designs into the realm of art and helped to change the way women dressed. Dazed & Confused pays tribute to Gruau’s style with a futuristic story by Daniel Jackson, styled by Karen Langley. With eye-catching black and white makeup by Yadim mimicking Gruau’s bold brushstrokes on the faces of Ava Smith, Codie Young &Madison Headrick, the edit is a modernized look at the master’s signature style.

This editorial also marks Yadim’s very first as the new International Makeup Designer for Dior, Naturally he was inspired by Gruau’s drawings for the house and he developed the concept based on those images.

Fashion’s fixation with all things aquatic played out on the S/S runways with a barrage of scuba inspired looks and gilded creations worthy of The Little Mermaid. Never ones to simply showcase a trend, Dazed & Confused offers an abstract take on the look with a brilliantly styled story shot by Sharif Hamza. As an otherworldly surfer-cum-fantasy girl, Emily Baker shines while Karen Langley pushes boundaries with her shape shifting selection of looks that seem crafted from coral. Amazing makeup by Lisa Houghton and slick hair courtesy of Rudi Lewis complete the look, but keep your eyes peeled for some incredible shell pieces from Peeble London!

Sean and Seng recreate the 90s for Dazed & Confused‘s anniversary issue, enlisting Jourdan Dunn to embody themes from the year of Dazed’s inception. In one shot Jourdan is a petulant Wednesday Adams, in the next she’s capturing the grunge spirit of Nirvana’s album, Nevermind. With exceptional styling by Karen Langley and a tongue in cheek sense of humor, the story does a great job of capturing all that was fun and fabulous about the early 90s era.

Dazed & Confused takes on the fall collections with a 60 plus page editorial by Kacper Kasprzyk filled with a wild assortment of clothing styled by Katie Shillingford, Robbie Spencer and Karen Langley. With three top tier stylists and nearly 40 models from established stars to new faces and kids fresh from the street, the story qualifies as a full on fashion extravaganza.

Kacper Kasprzyk takes Daga Ziober to the edge of the world for Dazed & Confused, shooting the Polish beauty in a stark landscape (the story was shot in Iceland just before the last volcanic eruption) wearing the season’s nomadic finery: exotic coats from Pringle of Scotland and Prada abound in the moody shots styled by Karen Langley. The faintest hint of liquid eyeliner by Megumi Itano and tousled locks created by Naoki Komiya complete Daga’s wild look.

The latest Dazed looks at the craftsmanship and technique behind fashion and opens with a stunning cover image starring Kirsi Pyrhonen. Shot by Sharif Hamza and styled by Dazed fashion director Karen Langley, the image of Kirsi in layers of beige and white is as captivating as covers come.

Karen Langley can turn out a great fashion story, even when the clothes are drenched in water. Langley uses her styling skill in the latest Dazed and Confused in Will Davidson‘s water logged tribute to fall’s finery. The story is as gritty as we’ve come to expect from Dazed, but the top notch casting of Lisanne de Jong, Lauren Brown, Ali Carr, Emily Wake and Lia Serge, all sporting hair looks by Shin Arima adds another layer of enjoyment.
