Super Secret

April 2nd, 2014 |Posted by Matthew

Though she became a household name for her Victoria’s Secret persona, Adriana Lima continues to prove it takes more than swimwear to standout at the top. In her cover story for Interview Germany April 2014, the supermodel mainstay is as bold as ever in graphic black and white. Minimal in styles by Julia von Boehm, Adriana’s magnetic gaze and edgy poses captivate under photographer Robbie Fimmano (London: Streeters London, Los Angeles: Streeters Los Angeles, New York: Streeters New York)’s stark shadow play.

Edita 24/7

March 18th, 2014 |Posted by Janelle

As one of the hardest working models in the biz Edita Vilkeviciute is a constant presence in magazines and campaigns, but this month the dynamic beauty goes the extra mile with a full slate of work that illustrates why she remains consistently in demand.

Dior clad on the cover of Vogue China‘s April issue, Edita captures the refinement of Raf Simons’ designs while adding a touch of sex appeal to the mix. Daniel Jackson‘s simple studio shots keep the focus on Julia von Boehm‘s selection of striking runway pieces and Edita’s powerful gaze. / See more from the new issue on

It is hard to think of another model quite as luminous as Edita, or an actor as fearsome as legendary tough guy, Danny Trejo. Imagine our surprise when Bruce Weber pairs the two up for a sweet editorial heavy on romance, sensuality and the joys of the unexpected. Weber’s signature golden retrievers even make an appearance in this series of sexy portraits / See the full story on M Le Monde

Unexpected Pleasures

January 22nd, 2014 |Posted by Janelle

Interview Germany continues its tradition of excellence with two new fashion stories that go for the unexpected. Cover star Lindsey Wixson turns in a stellar performance in Sebastian Faena‘s sensual story inspired by the films of Rainer Werner Fassbinder and filled with the same thrilling, avant-garde energy as his work (with set design by Jesse Kaufmann). Julia von Boehm styles Wixson and Jon Kortajarena in dramatic looks that echo the decadent costumes of movies like Lola.

Charlotte Wales and Clare Byrne provide a different kind of surprise with a spirited denim editorial focused on the very best in blue jeans. The fresh-faced cast was culled directly from New York high schools, providing a unique change of pace and a distinctive set of teen beauties.

Shayk Shack

October 21st, 2013 |Posted by Janelle

When a model crosses over from the sexy market to the editorial pages the end result is always a compelling mix of high fashion gravitas and red, hot sensuality. Irina Shayk has always handled both sides of the business admirably and since her Carlyne Cerf De Dudzeele styled Vogue debut back in 2012 she’s been on a roll. With her latest work Irina ups the ante;  snagging the first Vogue cover of her career. Irina shines in Giampaolo Sgura‘s classically minded shot for the November issue of Vogue Espana. Naturally that isn’t the only place you’ll find her this month – open up the latest VMan to see the Russian beauty quicken pulses in Sebastian Faena‘s sensual story, or glimpse inside Bazaar to see Irina star Carine Roitfeld’s modern day take on Romeo & Juliet.

Made In Heaven

September 3rd, 2013 |Posted by Janelle

You can always count on V Magazine to pull out a great reference. For their Icons issue, V looks back at the influencers who have come to shape popular culture and Sebastian Faena‘s dreamy shoot with Miranda Kerr looks back to 70s/80s original, Cicciolina. Art aficionados may remember Cicciolina for her short-lived romance with Jeff Koons and Made In Heaven, the ensuing series of paintings, sculptures and artifacts dedicated to their love affair. The dream team of Julia von Boehm, Jeanine Lobell and Kevin Ryan recreates the Cicciolina look on Miranda with platinum blonde hair, colorful makeup and an array of lacy white dresses. Top it all off with a floral crown and one bared breast and you have an accurate, yet updated portrayal of a sex symbol.
