Girl Games

September 11th, 2013 |Posted by Janelle

No one captures sensuality quite like Ellen von Unwerth so when she’s charged with shooting a dreamy scenario involving beautiful schoolgirls away from the prying eyes of the headmaster, you know you’re in for a treat. von Unwerth showcases her signature style in the pages of VS Magazine with an alluring cover story that revels in the girlish charm of it’s pouty subjects. Hailey Clauson, Luma Grothe, Ashley Smith, Emma Stern, Jennifer “JP” Pugh and Lindsey Byard star as the coquettish students in question and they manage to get into just the right amount of trouble in von Unwerth’s sexy shots. With four gorge covers shot by Kai Z Fengstyled by Tom Van Dorpe, and art directed by Jakob Hysén Hedberg, the latest issue of  Stockholm S/S/A/W Magazine packs an instantaneous punch. The stark yet elegant shots of Aline WeberNimue SmitShu Pei and Hailey Clauson are haunting and beautiful – not to mention a nice change from all the over-saturated colors we’ve been seeing on covers lately. Coquettish

August 15th, 2011 |Posted by Janelle

Vogue Paris takes Joan Smalls and Hailey Clauson into coquettish territory in a lovely new story by Josh Olins. Wearing elegant pieces chosen by Veronique Didry, Joan and Hailey shine in polka-dots, leopard prints and a series of black berets. Looking carefree and seductive, the duo walk matching pooches through the streets and pout while lounging on the grass in Celine and David Yurman. Life is just a day in the park for these beauties and for anyone who says different, Joan has a few choice gestures for them.

Warrior Woman

June 3rd, 2011 |Posted by Janelle

Sebastian Kim takes Hailey Clauson to an otherworldly place in the latest Numero with a tribal story styled by Charles Varenne. The combination of fierce accessories made from feathers and bone and inventive hair and makeup by  Diego Da Silva and Maud Laceppe transforms Hailey’s delicate beauty. The story makes for a wonderful showcase for Hailey and the season’s appealingly savage pieces.

Easy Breezy

May 19th, 2011 |Posted by Janelle

Lachlan Bailey puts us in the mood for summer with an engaging story for Vogue China. Styled by Melanie Huynh and featuring pieces from Givenchy, Dior and Balenciaga, the editorial takes high end looks and gives them a casual spin. Shu Pei and Hailey Clauson wear the looks perfectly and turn the sidewalks into runways: both girls look completely at ease as the wind whips through their hair.
