Vogue Russia Picks its New Crop

August 27th, 2015 |Posted by steven.yatsko

For Vogue Russia‘s September issue, Jason Kibbler photographs the stand-out fresh faces of Russia styled by Olga Dunina. The crop of up and comers have all been catching the eye of industry principals of seasons late. Russia being a wellspring of top models is nothing new, of course, but no one can argue against their knack for oft turning out fashion’s créme de la créme in good supply. These runway tested breakouts are proving they’re nothing less than that, like willowy Gucci campaign girl Lia Pavlova, the very wanted redhead Varya Shutova, or the Jil Sander muse Sofia Tesmenitskaya. See who else they cast as their it-girls:

Photographer Jason Kibbler /models Anabel Krasnotsvetova, Inga Dezhina , Irina Shnitman , Katya Ledneva , Lia Pavlova, Liza Ostanina , Sofia Tesmenitskaya , Varya Shutova , Yulia Ermakova, Zlata Semenko /  Editor  Olga Dunina / Hair Stylist Kevin Ryan / Makeup Artist Christine Corbel / Makeup Artist Justine Purdue / Manicurist Casey Herman /Manicurist Laura Forget

Gucci Gucci

June 16th, 2015 |Posted by Irene Ojo-Felix

Alessandro Michele‘s vision for Gucci sets the world in the gritty cityscape of LA. Models are all in various states of transport, whether by train or foot, adorned in Michele’s first foray for the juggernaut brand. Shot by Glen Luchford, the retro looking visuals match nostalgia with modernity as background figures provide abrupt variation to designs  in the foreground. Again, the floral prints mixed with the staunch rigidity of industrialization drive home the point of dualities and fluidity between the runway and the street. See more of the images below.
