Jazz Age

October 4th, 2010 |Posted by Janelle

Greg Lotus takes readers back in time with a Vogue Italia spread that harks back to the look of the 20s and 30s; with Georgina Stojiljkovic sporting the perfect bob and Diego Miguel starring as equally chic beau, the story captures the grandeur of the era perfectly. The combination of luxurious styling and Lotus’ keen eye makes for an especially appealing editorial.

Sea, Sun and Sand

June 4th, 2010 |Posted by Janelle

Vogue Italia serves up an editorial that perfectly captures the elegance of classic swimwear; Greg Lotus shoots Sedene Blake Ayan Elmi, as bathing beauties, in this lovely vintage inspired story. Wearing coordinated swimsuits and wide brim hats, the girls seem ready for the Riviera; Sedene looks perfectly chic with her cigarette holder and champagne, while Ayan is as  regal as ever in a sexy one-piece.

Sometimes everything just comes together flawlessly: Alana Zimmer, stars in a perfectly executed Vogue Italia editorial by Greg Lotus. Set against an incredible cave backdrop, the story features Alana in ornate gold jewelry, unusual hair looks by Antoinette Beenders and monochromatic makeup by Stephen Dimmick. Each element, with flawless styling by Danny Santiago, adds to the dreamy feel of the images and helps to create a truly memorable story that highlights Alana’s regal beauty.

Noir City

August 10th, 2009 |Posted by Janelle

Greg Lotus transports us back to the glamour of the 1940s for Vogue Italia. The talented lensman shoots Tanya Dziahileva, Christina Carey and newcomer Janete Friedrich for a series of images that look like stills from a neo-Noir film. Each girl plays her part perfectly and the dramatic lighting, combined with the overarching sense of mystery makes for an especially intriguing tale.

So Cinematic

September 3rd, 2008 |Posted by Janelle

Siri Tollerod and Elena Melnik hit the road in the new Vogue Italia. The stunning pair star as femme fatales in Greg Lotus‘ Suggestions editorial. The overall feel is very Hitchcockian. Hints of Alfred’s icy muses Tippi Hedren and Kim Novak run through the entire story. Make no mistake though, Siri and Elena are not damsels in distress – in the stylized shoot the elegantly coiffed duo seem ready to make their own mischief.
