Out of the Fold

April 29th, 2016 |Posted by steven.yatsko

The limited edition publication Centrefold Magazine releases its latest: a visual anthology of both established and emerging talents in a neatly printed package. Flouting glossy convention, Centerfold aims its pages at the photographic purists who find repose in the place between fashion and art. This issue’s list of likeminded collaborators reassures that it’s in good hands–like photographers Driu Crilly & Tiago Martel, Chad Moore, and Andrew G Hobbs (Centerfold’s founder) and stylist Katie Burnett and Benoit Bethume, plus more. See below an exclusive preview of the issue.

Worlds of wonder and madness come together producing explosive choreography that sends high fashion even higher. Breaking the rules is well within Fabing’s reach with his history of experimenting with motion. Dolled-up by hairstylist Peter Gray and makeup artist Georgi Sandev, Xiao Wen, our new Industry Icon, quakes with youth and vitality making her this season’s muse of the high end retailer.

Exhibition Magazine: The Wax Issue

February 25th, 2016 |Posted by Irene Ojo-Felix

Exhibition Magazine has always been focused on the feel of things. The Paris-based mag has tackled powder, silk, lipstick and leather, transforming these ordinary materials and challenging how they can be perceived. For their latest issue, wax steps up to the plate and photographers Luigi & Iango have taken up the challenge. Invigorated by what they call the “extremely versatile medium” they revealed how after months of testing out the material they found it “very challenging and exciting to experiment with.” Emboldened after visiting a medical exhibition in the South of Italy that had wax mannequins, the duo along with stylist, Tom Van Dorpe, loosely interpreted the sensual colors seen there into their poetic visuals. Modern muse Malgosia Bela was chosen as the canvas and contorts her svelte frame into sculptural wax formations that resonate otherworldly. As a mannequin brought to life, Bela hypnotizes audiences with her intense gaze and delicate distortion of reality.

Nothing is left to the imagination with a playful, see-through Burberry trench and high cut swimsuits giving a little peek of some cheeks. See more of Rosie’s oozing sex appeal in the images below.

We Are Vandals

December 5th, 2013 |Posted by victoria

A brand new bi-annual international publication— Vandals Magazine- arrives next week in Paris and we get a special sneak peak at the special portrait series, “We are Vandals” by Mathieu Vladimir Alliard featuring some of the season’s most in demand faces. The black and white series, with the concept to keep the girls as raw as possible “using no hair styling, and employing only one or two bold colors of makeup to create a ‘vandalish’ effect”, is featured here on Models.com exclusively (the issue itself is color and will have different images). The magazine, a 400 page tome, was developed in Paris, produced in New York, and designed in Barcelona, giving it a truly global air. With no ads and based solely on content, Vandals looks to be more than just your average fashion magazine. The magazine’s first issue ‘Volume 0’ will be printed in limited edition and is available on December 16th in Europe, and internationally soon after. Preorder your copy from now-December 15th, and for more from Vandals visit We Are Vandals’s website.

First Look: Russh

May 31st, 2013 |Posted by Janelle

The new issue of Russh is focused on beauty and it is evident right from the start; with Jourdan Dunn channeling Sade circa Smooth Operator on Benny Horne‘s sleek cover it is hard not to think about all things glamorous. Rather than simply listing cosmetic tips, Russh attempt to explore the issue from all sides, asking what constitutes modern beauty and why our society is intrinsically fascinated with the concept. Naturally, there is plenty of eye-candy to enjoy – from Marte Mei van Haaster shooting a revealing artistic story, to Daniella Rech‘s exploration of clean, fresh scrubbed faces, this edition is filled with a chic, feminine take on what’s gorgeous now.
